All schools can access aquatics programs

PRIOR TO ALL BOOKINGS PLEASE BE AWARE OF CANCELLATION AND HOT WEATHER POLICIES- see policies section left main page...

Private (non -government schools)

Can access via User Pays system, please contact Instructor in Charge to discuss options for a program to suit student year level and numbers. When suitable dates found a quote/ initial booking request will then be emailed to teacher showing a Total Cost per Student, a breakdown of costs as follows:

Instructor Wages: Quote calculated on student numbers, activity/ratio and length and number of sessions ( recommended session duration is 1.5 hrs ). Any students requiring 1:1 support  ( epilepsy, diabetes, autism etc ) will need to be discussed with Instructor in Charge and included in quote. An invoice for instructor wages will be sent to school from DE Swimming & Aquatics Unit after completion of program.

Equipment Levy: Current 2020 rate is year 6-9 $3.50 + G.S.T per 1.5 hr session per student. Example: a 4 session day is 4 x $3.50 = $14.00 + G.S.T = $15.40 per student. A quote will be calculated on number of booked sessions x booked number of students. Year 10-12 SACE 12 hour is $18.00 + G.S.T, Year 10-12 SACE 18 hour is $26.00 + G.S.T.

An invoice for equipment levy will be sent to school from Victor Harbor Aquatics Centre after completion of program.

Once a quote/ initial booking has been recieved (and any alterations made if necessary) please sign and return to Instructor in Charge asap to confirm your booking.

Re-booking:

If a school wishes to do a rollover booking for the following year please confirm this with Instructor in Charge at completition of program, this is especially important if accomodation is involved. Your rollover booking is highly appreciated and a new booking will be sent out asap.

 Government Schools

Can access an allocation for general aquatics ( 6 hours per annum ) for years 6-9 and 12 or 18 hours Stage 1 or 2 SACE for years 10, 11 & 12.Extra Sessions: User Pays hours can increase the number of sessions in a program if required. Year 3-5 surf education may also be accessed via User Pays.

New Schools (not currently accessing aquatics):

Equipment Levy: Current 2020 rate is Year 6-9 $3.50 + G.S.T per 1.5 hr session per student. Example: a 4 session day is 4 x $3.50 = $14.00 + G.S.T = $15.40 per student. A quote will be calculated on number of booked sessions x booked number of students. Year 10-12 SACE 12 hour is $18.00 + G.S.T, Year 10-12 SACE 18 hour is $26.00 + G.S.T.

Schools Currently Accessing Victor Harbor Aquatics:

Need to indicate to Instructor in Charge that you wish to access VHAC the following year so the allocation can be updated at the beginning of each year. Student numbers can be updated once term 1 has commenced. To ensure desired dates are booked please rollover booking or discuss alternatives with Instructor in Charge asap, (this is especially important if large student numbers or accommodation/transport is involved).

Schools currently accessing another aquatic centre:

May access VHAC once an allocation has been gained or can book a program on a User Pays rate.

If transferring from another centre a courtesy call is recommended to that centre to cancel booking.

Schools not re-booking with VHAC:

Please let Instructor in Charge know if you will not be re booking with VHAC, this would be appreciated as it will assist with future bookings.
